Featured Album: Mélange

Dean's newest album, "Mélange: New Music for Trumpet and Piano", is available now!

Dean McNeill's latest recording project, "Mélange: New Music for Trumpet and Piano", features Jon Ballantyne (Jazz Piano), Bonnie Nicholson (Classical Piano), and Dean playing Trumpets and Flugel Horn. Jon Ballantyne is a Canadian born jazz pianist who has won two Juno awards (the most recent Juno coming in 2007). Bonnie Nicholson is a much sought after accompanist and has performed as a guest artist with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra.

The CD release for Dean McNeill's latest recording project was held at the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Dean performed some music from the album with Jon Ballantyne (Jazz Piano), and Bonnie Nicholson (Classical Piano).
